Kyleigh Short
Meet Kyleigh Short 5’8 graduating Class of 2022 from Hopewell Junction, NY.
Kyleigh is a smart player making decisions which put herself and her teammates in favorable positions. She is a catch to shoot player from the three point line. Kyleigh is a controlled player, waiting for the exact opportunity to make a play. She sees the court very well and can dispense the ball to her teammates in transition. Kyleigh can go inside to make a move on her defender and grab rebounds. On defense, Kyleigh makes smart plays ultimately slowing down the opponent.
Kyleigh has assisted her high school team to winning a Regional championship and league championship the past two years. Kyleigh and her. AAU team placed 2nd in Nationals and were featured on ESPN.
Currently Kyleigh hold a 3.5 GPA while taking AP Biology, AP US History, College English and College Government. Kyleigh has been a scholar athlete throughout all four years of high school and is also a Citizenship Award recipient. In college, Kyleigh is interested in studying Exercise Science.
