Jaden Wan

Jaden Wan 5’10 graduating Class of 2023 from Newton, PA is a refined player who can play inside and out.

Jaden is an efficient player because she knows exactly how to position herself. Jaden is very smart knowing when to be where in relation to the ball. Her positioning gets her open and her teammates know how to get her the ball to immediately score. Jaden is a catch to shoot player with a consistent shot behind the three point line. Jaden knows how to use her body to hold a defender off when posting up or rebounding. Jaden has multiple moves in the low post to score on her defender. In the high post, she can beat her defender off the dribble to score at the basket.  Jaden positions herself well on the offensive end to grab rebounds which result in putbacks.

This is Jaden’s third year starting on varsity. In her freshman year, Jaden was a Top 15 Scorer. As as sophomore, Jaden was awarded All Team and All-League Honorable Mention. Jaden and her AAU team won the USJN Gold Championship this past spring. Jaden is a spectacular student with a 4.39 GPA being the Founder and President of Students Against Melanoma (SAM), Co-President of the American Heart Association, and a Distinguished Honor Roll Student. Jaden is also a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, and Rho Kappa Social Studies National Honor Society. Jaden plans to study biology/pre-med in college.
