Lamaria Estridge

Lamaria Estridge, 5’11, Class of 2024 is from Frederick, Maryland.

’21-’22 Season Stats: 15 PPG, 13 RPG, 8 APG

Lamaria is an athletic playmaker with a keen eye for passing. Estridge’s anticipation on the court is always ahead of time. She averaged 8 assists last season on her high school team. Being both agile and strong, Lamria finishes through contact at the rim. She is a confident three level scorer. On the offensive end, Lamaria is an exceptional rebounder. A decent amount of her points are from scoring from the putback. On the defensive end, she either grabs rebounds and takes it up the court herself or outlets the ball to a teammate. Her anticipation is one of her best qualities as a player. She knows how to jump the passing lanes for steals. Estridge is a productive defensive player with shot blocking capabilities.

Lamaria has played varsity basketball since the seventh grade. She assisted her team in winning the 2020 Mid-Maryland AA Tournament Conference Championship and 2021 Lady Gael Tournament. Individually, through school team, she has been awarded: 20201 Lady Gael Tournament MVP, 2021 Frederick County Athlete of the Month, 2020 Mid-Maryland Varsity AA tournament MVP, and All County Team for FCPS (2018-2020).
